I collect a lot of things but I think jewelry is my favorite. When I was a child my mother kept her jewelry in a shoe box and every month I would beg her to take it out so I could look thru it. I would dump it all out on the bed and then go thru it one piece at a time. And that's how it started LOL

I live in a small rural town and there were few places for people to wear their jewelry so I think they bought it with the hope that they might have somewhere to wear it to at some point. Some items were obviously never worn, some you can't tell and I usually figure those pieces may or may not have been worn once.
